Verify an IUA award
Every award conferred by the International University of America is held in a single, tamper-evident register maintained by the registrar. Enter the reference printed on your certificate, with your date of birth, to see exactly what our records hold.
Check your award
Both details must match the register exactly as they are held against your record.
Four steps to a verified certificate
Self-service verification replaces the old email-and-wait process. Students and employers get the same answer from the same register.
Identify the record
The reference number and the date of birth must both match the register. A URN on its own is not enough — that is what stops guesswork against the register.
Confirm the award exists
The register tells you free of charge whether a matching record is held, along with the award title and its current status.
Pay the verification fee
A single flat fee covers the full record and the signed PDF. Payment is handled by Square — IUA never sees your card details.
Download the certificate
A dated verification certificate carrying the award details, documents on file, and a reference an employer can quote back to the registrar.
