Verification of Academic Attendance / Qualifications

Student Online verification

 

 

From time to time organisations request verification of current and past students' attendance and qualifications. These organisations include: prospective employers, employment and screening agencies, Higher Education institutions, local authorities and Government bodies.


Commercial Organisations

For commercial organisations such as Employers, Employment Agencies or Screening Agencies there is an administration fee of £5 per verification. Full details of the ordering process are available here:


Academic Verification of current students and former graduates. This details dates of attendance, course of study, award and degree classification. Please note that this product is only for commercial organisations and not for (current or former) students. Academic Institutions and Government organisations will not be charged and can visit the following web page for information.


Detailed Description

If you need to confirm a student’s attendance at International University of America (IUA) you can request an academic verification


There is a charge of £5 to commercial organisations for each request ordered. Please use Online Payment to make the payment


As well as placing your order you will need to separately email a scanned copy of signed authorisation from the student for release of the information to a third party.


The email address for this is verification@iua.ac  please include the student’s full name and your order number as the subject. 

When we have received the order from the store and the authorisation email we will process the request. 

This normally takes 3-5 working days to process but may take up to four weeks if we need to query requests where data is incomplete, if the data does not match our records .


This charge is applicable per request, regardless of whether we can or cannot confirm a student's attendance or if you cannot obtain the student's authorisation for release. Please make sure you have the correct details before making a purchase. 

We cannot provide personal (character) references for current or former students. Such requests should be directed to the academic department in which they studied. If we receive such a request, we will pass it on to the department, which will delay the response. 

Non-Commercial Organisations

For non-commercial organisations such as Higher Education Institutions, Local Authorities, UK and Overseas Governmental Bodies etc there is no charge. To obtain verification of a current or former student:

  1. Make sure you have the student's consent for the request
  2. Verify your own identity and relationship with the student
  3. Download and complete the Academic Verification Request form
  4. Email the completed form and other supporting documentation to verification@iua.ac  or fax to +44 (0)208 331 0666
 
Requests will be processed usually within 3-5 working days. This may be be longer if:
  • We need to query requests where data is incomplete
  • We need to query requests if the data does not match our records
 

Personal Character References

We cannot provide personal (character) references for current or former students. Such requests should be directed to the academic department in which they studied. If we receive such a request we will pass it on to the department, which will delay the response.


Courier Services

The Student Services Information Desk will only send your documents by Royal Mail Airmail Service. Separate Charges Apply.
